Seawolves fumbled their game against Dalhousie: UNBSJ lost their second home game of the season in sporadic rain

The Seawolves football team lost against Dalhousie Sept. 22nd in a game that had slippery conditions which had a negative effect on the home team’s game.

The wet and slick field, due to several downpours of rain before and during the game, caused both teams to make lost of runs early on.

Despite the conditions, Dalhousie scored the first touchdown only seven minutes into the first quarter, bringing the score to 7-0. Before the end of the quarter they made a second touchdown which resulted in a score of 14-0.

Before the second half, Dalhousie scored yet another touch down bringing their score to 21 and leaving UNBSJ at zero. The Seawolves finally scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t manage to do more before the end of the game.

The game ended in a loss for the Seawolves with a final score of 21-7.
