The men’s basketball team continue the weekend winning streak against the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus (DALC) Rams on Nov. 17.

UNBSJ took the lead against DALC, largely due to number 6, Kayden Roy. Roy is a new recruit for the Seawolves who was out at the beginning of the season due to an injury. He scored the majority of the baskets for the Seawolves and seemed to be an excellent leader on the court. He led UNBSJ to a 26-14 lead in the first quarter.

In the second quarter the Seawolves came together as a team and set each other up nicely for some excellent shots. The Rams were not ready to back down, however, as they upped their defence. DALAC managed to stay around 10 points behind the home team, but before the halftime buzzer they were still trailing 38-31.

After halftime, the Seawolves continued playing a strong game even thought they accumulated three fouls only three minutes into the quarter. Despite the fouls, UNBSJ held on to their lead with a score of 61-48.

In the final quarter of the game, the Rams came back with aggression and tightened the score. This caused the Seawolves to panic and make hasty choices by moving the ball to fast. After a timeout UNBSJ calmed down, maintained their composure, and won the game with a final score of 71-66.
