So, you’re less-than-blessed in the penis department- this must mean your destined to unfulfilling sex and a life of ridicule, right? That definitely does not have to be the case. Men of all sizes and shapes can have a completely normal and satisfying sex life, it’s all about using what you have.

The average length of an erect penis is 5.1 inches to 5.9 inches and many men fall in that range. But still, there is an obsession that bigger means better when it comes to penis size.

Something a lot of people don’t realize is that regardless of size, the vagina will accommodate most penises. The vagina is typically about four inches long when aroused, and it is elastic and muscular and very good at lengthening and stretching to accommodate things when they are introduced gradually.

Choosing a position: unfortunately a less-than-well-endowed man is not going to be able to successfully maneuver every position in the book, but the same goes for extra large guys as well. You want to choose a position that will allow for the most G-spot stimulation and the tightest grip on your modest member. Some good positions for smaller than average penises:

Rear-entry: the receiving partner should be on all fours with the guy behind her on his knees. This will create a tighter entry and make the guy feel bigger inside the woman.

Missionary with a twist: Try putting a pillow under the woman’s butt or raise her legs and rest them on your shoulders. This will create an angle that will put your penis directly in line with her G-spot for maximum pleasure.

Sitting: The woman sits on the edge of the bed and the man stands in front of her. This will tighten the vaginal muscles and create a more intense sensation.

It’s important to understand that bigger doesn’t always mean better! Few women are able to orgasm from just penetration. A lot of ladies require clitoral stimulation to get off and completely enjoy sex. Also, with a modest penis, it’s easier to experiment without discomfort or pain from too much stretching or hitting the cervix.

If you’re the type of couple to use condoms, it’s super important to get ones that are right for your size. Nothing kills the mood like an ill-fitting condom falling off in the middle of the fun. There are brands of condoms made specifically for men with smaller penises.

The UNBSJ Sexual Health Centre carries Caution Wear “Iron Grip” condoms, which offer a snugger fit, so stop by and see us if you need some!

Just because you’re not humungous doesn’t mean you can’t have great sex. And ladies, the only concern you should have about a penis is that it’s attached to a great guy. It’s not about what you have, it’s about how you use it!
