My name is Jen Brown and I am currently a third year science student pursuing a bio-psych degree. I am an outgoing person and enjoy having fun on campus. I love UNBSJ and I would never change my choice of school. I have a bright personality and love challenges.

In my second year I was the social represntative on council and was involved with the social committee that was under the Social Director. In my third year I was the Social Director of the company.

During my time on campus I have been involved with many things including Promise Partnership Mentoring, Tutoring and Backyard Book club. I have coached volleyball and basketball at Hazen White St Francis School. I was an executive member and helped start the women’s rugby club. I have given campus tours and have been involved in many committees.

I am seeking election for the above stated position because I believe that having a great experience at university is just as important as getting a great education. University is hard and I want to make it that much easier by being on the SRC and organizing club and societies activities that can help students let go and take a break from crazy.

If I were elected I would like to put the skills I’ve gained from being the Social Director and planning campus events into helping clubs and societies plan their events and be successful. I would like to continue with the progress that the current SRC has put into place, such as the SafeRide program and the walking trails.

If I could be any famous person it would be Christina Aguilera. She has been my girl since I was about seven years old and now my reflection will show who I am inside.

Emily is in her fourth year of Political Science. She loves studying and academics which follows into her research work. She's a stern black coffee drinker and is a proud Acadienne. When she's not working or doing school work, you can find Emily listening to 70s music on vinyl and watching Parks and Recreation. If you ask her about parliamentary institutions, she won't stop talking.
