Chargers prove too much for Seawolves

On Nov. 27 the Crandall University Chargers came to town to square off against the host UNB Saint John Seawolves 27, in ACAA mens basketball.

The ACAA top seeded Chargers jumped to an early lead in the first quarter, leading 22-10.

The Seawolves looked to bounce back during the second quarter and managed to outscore their opponents 21-20.
However, Crandall remained firmly in the lead, up 42-31 at halftime.

The Chargers started the third quarter looking to put this game to bed early. Crandall went on a 25-6 run, as the Seawolves could only watch the game slip out of their hands. Crandall added another 27 points in the fourth quarter, easily taking the match 92-60.

The Chargers had six players with double digit scoring. Nathaniel Ceaser led the way with 13 points and Achuil Lual finished with 12.

Countering for the Seawolves was Ryan Foster, who carried the team with a game high 24 points.

The Chargers moved to 6-1, remaining atop the ACAA standings. The Seawolves drop below 500 for the first time this season, at 2-3.
