According to a letter posted to the Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers (AUNBT) website, the University has chosen to enact sections of the Industrial Relations Act, with intention to lock-out all members of the AUNBT Full-Time (Group 1) bargaining unit.

The letter outlines the University’s intention to lock out the professors effective tomorrow morning at 7 a.m.

This follows the AUNBT’s decision to strike, which came just before midnight last night when talks broke down between the University and the AUNBT.
