On Friday, Feb. 13th, the UNB-SRC finished off their Sex Week celebrations with a Spice Girls themed bash at Grand Hall.

When you think of the Spice Girls, you instantly start to think of their high-energy songs that rocked the 90’s. The “If you want to be my lover” theme was perfect for Sex Week and Valentine’s Day, drawing in happy couples and singles alike.

Strobe lights and funky music from the 90’s filled the Grand hall. The Spice Girls tribute band, ‘Wannabe,’ was engaged with the audience and received a positive welcome from UNBSJ.

Throughout the evening, one student repeatedly shouted, “OMG! The Spice Girls are back,” and danced the entire night away.

As the night progressed, there was a steady stream of students who came to the event. If anything can be said about the Spice Up Your Life event, it was truly a spicy conclusion to Sex Week.
