Earlier today The Baron released a statement on twitter saying that it had finally found its hidden agenda.

“I didn’t even know we had one,” says Editor in Chief, Steven Hildebrand.

“Someone on YikYak kept mentioning it and that’s when we got tipped off…we have been looking for months.”

The agenda has been hidden since the end of August, but wasn’t noticed until after Sex Week.

Hildebrand doesn’t want to speculate on who hid the agenda, or why. “It doesn’t matter what happened last year, we need to move beyond that. What’s important is that it is found.”

“I mean, I guess it’s good for everyone,” says an SRC councillor who wishes to remain anonymous. “It sure is going to be boring now though, I don’t know what we are going to talk about.”

The agenda is said to be leather bound and about ½ inch thick, sources cannot confirm if it is from 2015, or whether it is also useful for the current year.

The Baron won’t say where it was hidden, but does state that it was very hard to find, and is still hard to see.

“I’m not going to talk specifics,” says writer Patrina Kridgeon. “I don’t thinking finding it will make a difference, in fact I haven’t even seen the damn thing.”

When asked about the contents of the agenda Hildebrand is very forthcoming.

“I was excited to see what it was, but it turns out there is nothing in it, nothing in the agenda.”

“Do I feel incompetent to have had a hidden agenda at the Baron? Absolutely, scheduling would have been way easier this year, but hey, learn from mistakes right?”

Despite the embarrassment, Hildebrand says that the Baron is working to fix the issue. “We now have a dedicated shelf for agendas, no agenda will be hidden again if I have my way.”

Despite the positive tone many feel that this will happen again. “I am disappointed that there weren’t more steps put in place,” says a first year political science student.

“It just doesn’t seem transparent enough, agendas are just too important to students.”
