Anger
Is such a pointless emotion
Yet it consumes me
Anger at voices nattering away,
of silent words and silent urges.
Tyrants in their kingdom
Fighting off the plague
I am alone,
And surrounded,
by war.
Both sides fighting a constant battle,
One heart beating,
Thousands of minds at work
And I
am alone.
Watching rain pour down
but not feeling it on my skin,
Knowing it’s not real.
