The SRC chose The Cornerstone to hold this years’ formal because they wanted a venue that would make the night special for students and guests in attendance.
The venue has an incredible reputation in the city for hosting magical events. It is located uptown, wheelchair accessible and has free parking. The dress code is semi-formal.
Uptown Sparkles is happening on the same night so there will be a lot of fun things happening in the Uptown area!
Allie Ruigrok, VP Social of the SRC, gave us the inside scoop. The venue will be decorated for the holidays, complete with lights and Christmas trees. There will be a live DJ from 8 PM until 1 AM. The bar will serve liquor to those with a photo ID, and there will be free snacks served throughout the night. There will also be a photo-booth from 9 – 11 pm!
There is no sign-in cap on this event, so feel free to bring a friend or date to ring in the holiday season!
