Bell Let’s Talk is on January 29 and for this month we are asking our readers to share their story. Leading up to Bell Let’s Talk Day, we want to give everyone a chance to share, privately or anonymously, their experience with mental health.

Sharing your story may provide someone struggling with the courage that they need to speak up, the understanding that it will get better, or the realization that they are not alone. It can also help reduce the stigma around mental illness by giving a better understanding of how people in the community are affected by mental health issues.

Any UNB students or faculty who are comfortable having their stories heard can make an anonymous submission via Google Forms, which will ensure that you are provided complete privacy. If you are interested in being interviewed online or in-person, you can contact us through our various social media accounts.

Taylor is in her fourth year of her Bachelor of Arts/Education and is double majoring in English and Psychology. She’s a cat mom of two, a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, a pluviophile, and a lover of books. When she’s not at school or work, you can find her collecting rocks, cuddling her cats, or perusing thrift stores. She also believes pasta should be a food group and that gummy bears qualify as a healthy breakfast.
