On October 5, the President’s Office released a statement outlining how the 2021 winter term will be delivered at UNB for undergraduate students.

The winter semester will be delivered in the same format as the 2020 fall term: a blend of online and in-person courses.

Over the next few weeks, courses for the winter term will be updated to indicate their delivery format.

The academic calendar has also been adjusted for the winter term to accommodate the required 14-day isolation period for those travelling outside of Atlantic Canada during the winter break.

Classes for the winter term will begin on Monday, January 11, 2021, and the last day of classes will be Thursday, April 15. All classes during the first week will be delivered online to ensure that all those who must isolate can do so safely.

Those who are travelling outside of the Atlantic provinces during their winter break must have a university-approved, 14-day self-isolation plan. To do this, the COVID-19 self-isolation form must be filled out as soon as possible.

Any questions about the 14-day isolation can be emailed to selfisolationhelp@unb.ca.
