Black Lives Matter Fredericton launches new resource website


On Monday, February 1, Black Lives Matter Fredericton is launching their new website, Black Lives Matter in New Brunswick.

The new website will have resources for educators to teach Black history in schools, including stories, lesson plans, and videos.

To celebrate the launch, an online event is being streamed live on Facebook at 7 p.m. with the participation of St. Thomas University and UNB Fredericton’s Faculty of Education. The event will include several speakers, including Oliva Ishimwe, Alicia Noreiga-Mundaroy, Husoni Raymond, Ryan Sullivan, and Dr. Mary Louise McCarthy-Brandt.
