UNB Saint John is hosting another COVID-19 vaccination clinic this week.

New vaccination clinic date

After the last vaccination clinic on September 23, UNBSJ and the UNB Student Health Centre will be providing vaccines against COVID-19 on Thursday, October 7.

The vaccination clinic will be open from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and it will be in breakout rooms 140 and 141 in the Ganong Hall building. The vaccine is still free of charge and open to any student who needs either their first or second dose.

Vaccination rates among 20-29 still lagging

According to the Government of New Brunswick’s latest statistics, 83.1% of eligible New Brunswickers aged 20-29 have received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose, while only 67.7% have received their second dose, far below the new government goal of 90% for all eligible New Brunswickers.
