What kinds of events does the Society host?

The club endeavours to host events that allow everyone to feel included and equally valued. In the previous academic year, the club has hosted Halloween costume contests, bingo games, and queer movie evenings at the university.

What are the club’s future expectations?

The society plans to organize an annual Christmas dinner and participate in the Saint John pride parades in the following years. Since the club has just recently been established, the club’s executive team is open to any suggestions for improvements and new ideas for hosting more exciting and interactive events throughout the year.

Statement from club President

David Peter Irish, the current President of the Club, said that the club is an all-inclusive society that promotes acceptance of queer youth and culture by encouraging people to be themselves regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or background.
