The Baron is hosting a weekly series introducing readers to the clubs and societies on campus here at UNB Saint John.
The Club 3:16 is a brand-new society at UNB Saint John and it focuses on bringing together students devoted to Christianity.
Society’s activities and events
The club expects to start different online events this semester. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, they want to start with online prayer, devotion, and discussion meetings.
Club 3:16 aims to establish a community of students who devote themselves to Christianity and give them a space to grow together and inspire others to participate.
“Our vision is gathering a group of Christian students in our community from all different groups and churches to meet for events and fellowship,” said the club through their social media.
Club 3:16 origins and statement
The club was included on the UNB-SRC website this year and after the executives met in the fall, it will start running events this semester. The students have the support of local faith organizations and pastors.
Since it is a new society, the Club 3:16 is asking for ideas and feedback on their social media.
