Students are encouraged to book a vaccination appointment whether it be their first, second,  or booster dose. The vaccination is free for all students.

How to book an appointment

In order to book a vaccination appointment, email behealthy@unb.ca with your full name, date of birth, Medicare number (if applicable), and specify what dose you intend on receiving with the date and type of your previous vaccine. For second and booster doses, students must have five months between their last dose and the date of their appointment.

How to prepare for the vaccine

For ease on the day of your appointment, students are asked to have filled out the COVID-19 consent form prior to appointments and to wear a short-sleeved shirt. If it is your second or booster dose, bring your COVID-19 record of immunization from your previous vaccination. Furthermore, bring your New Brunswick Medicare card. If you do not have a Medicare card, bring an alternative form of identification.

Face mask requirements

Facemasks are mandatory in all UNB facilities. Under Level Three of the COVID-19 Winter Plan, cloth face masks are not permitted. The UNB community is strongly encouraged to wear N95 or KN95 masks or surgical masks that have a minimum of three layers.
