Club’s activities

The UNBSJ Global Medical Brigade is a chapter of the Global Brigades non-profit worldwide organization. The co-presidents, Avery Demerchant and Julianne Grace MacCallum, re-started the club during the summer.

Their main event is a volunteering trip to Honduras from April 30 to May 6 of next year, however, they need to raise the funds and get at least 18 volunteers to make it possible.

More details about the trip here.

Club’s mission

The organization’s mission is to “facilitate, mobilize and collaborate with communities to achieve their health and economic goals,” according to the website. The chapter at UNB lives by the statement.
