Dear older generations

We, younger people are trying to fix your mistakes yet you disregard us, cough in our faces and say “well sorry you are sick but there’s nothing I can do about it”.

Wolfgang Düchtel/The Baron

It worries us that our lives are being negatively affected and nobody is listening.

We smile but behind us is depression, anxiety and hopelessness, we need your help.

Don’t belittle us because we are young, encourage us because you have the wisdom because you are old.

Listen to what we have to say even if it makes no sense.

Laugh with us even through our faults.

Get angry for injustice that we are carrying.

Run, run the race beside us and let us know things will get better.

Push us, if we are lacking motivation but, not too hard.

Fight with us when you see that our battle is too much for us alone.

Love us, because we are sons, daughters, friends, people!

We want to see change in your lifetime too!
