The event was well attended with various people across disciplines and with guests who accompanied them. Grads also had the opportunity to win door prizes, which were UNB Christmas ornaments. Eight of these were given away through random draws through-out the event.

The holiday decorations brought much cheer, and it offered opportunities for incredible photo ops among those in attendance.

In addition to the decorations and music, the event was catered by Chartwells. It ranged from spring rolls to chicken wings and kept everyone well fed during the few hours of the event.

Grad class coordinator, Emma Higdon planned the entire event and executed it with the help of her friends. When asked about the planning process and how she feels it went, she shared:

“The planning was fairly simple and an easy process. There were some challenges, however Chartwells was amazing to work with! They really helped make this event possible. I am so happy many people were able to make it and had a good time.”

It was a wonderful occasion for celebration and Higdon says that Grads can expect more in the following months to come.

Higdon encourages all grads join to the Grad 2023 Facebook group to stay in the know on all thing’s grad related.
