UNB Alumni to host free LinkedIn webinar

An exciting webinar hosted by the Alumni Office will take place on Tuesday, February 28 from 12 to 1pm.

The event will be led by UNB Arts Alum, Shelly Elsliger (BA’89) and will focus on job search fundamentals, specifically LinkedIn skills. It is not only open to all UNB students, but all students are encouraged to attend the Zoom event as important and helpful information will be given. 

What is LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is a powerful recruitment tool which allows employers to assess skills, qualifications, experience, and attributes relating for roles. During this free event, Shelly Elsliger will be discussing what it takes to make your profile career ready with how to tap into LinkedIn jobs, expand your network strategically, and how to make your personal brand work for you!

Overall, 96% of employers use LinkedIn to vet potential candidates for job opportunities and so this is an event you won’t want to miss as it can really improve your potentials for career opportunities.

Ashley is a fifth-year student in the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education concurrent program. Now in her final year, she hopes to further studies with the goal of promoting international advocacy for educational rights.
