until I have reached the bottom
What is this world?
I am no longer on Earth
this is a whole new planet.

Around me I know no one
no familiar faces,
nothing looks the same.

I am in a different world;
one with no escape
no world I have ever seen
nor have I ever dreamt of.

This world is altered
I feel no connection
I feel alone.
Yet I feel surrounded.

No one to grab my hand
No one to drive me out,
