Fall;
the most ravishing season of all time,
how mischievously she often knocks on the door.
For the man who dreamed of tan over his body,
she gives the best dressing,
maybe over his wounds.
As the dim green blood drains from my body,
I see blood clots all over, freezing my palette.
Oh, look at this old leaf who refuses to fall.
Despite the ruthless gravity choking him,
down to the ground.
Despite the hustling wind that tears him apart
Why does one last leaf still cling to his roots?
The freezing nerves,
the sobbing rain,
the pungent smell from rotten leaves
nothing shook this one last leaf
from sticking to his life.
But alas,
he sees there isn’t any life to hold on to,
no hope to dream of.
He gently falls upon the ground graciously
and lies peacefully without despise and grief.
Fall, the most ravishing season of all time,
how mischievously she often knocks on the door.
So, one should be ready, settling their bills.
For we never know when it’s our time to fall?
