Privacy in a digital age is a discussion that seems to have no end. How much information do big companies and social media networks have on us? How much is too much? How much should we be willing to give up?

I would argue we have given up too much privacy and too much information. While it is convenient for Facebook to know things about us, those targeted ads still creep me out. Every single thing we upload or like or share is just more information that big companies add to their database about us.
What about the abilities for our phones to track us, with some being able to predict where our home and workplace are, even if they aren’t asked to? It is not as if this information is not hackable, as well, as we see every time some credit card company gets hacked and tens of thousands of people get their information stolen.
But then again, what are we really supposed to do?
