During the week of February 22 – 26, the SRC will be hosting winter virtual and in-person events. 

Snow art contest 

The contest will be from February 22 to February 24 at 7 p.m. To participate, students must email a picture of a snow sculpture, snowman, or snow painting, their name, and student I.D. number at unbsrcmedia@gmail.com. 

There will be four winter gift baskets for each category: most artistic, most colorful, best try, and biggest snow art. 

Socially distanced snowshoeing 

From February 22 to February 26, students can enter their name in a winter gift basket draw anytime they sign out snowshoes from the Athletic Centre. 

To pick up a pair of snowshoes, students must email Stephanie Guimond (stephanie.guimond@unb.ca) or Sharon Steward (sharon.steward@unb.ca) and arrange a date ahead of time. There is a limit of snowshoes available.  

Free coffee and cookie 

Students that go to the Baird Dining Hall from February 23 to February 26 can get a coupon from the SRC for free coffee and a cookie. 

This activity will be available only while supplies last. 

Cozy winter movie night 

On February 24, students can join the SRC on Netflix Party to watch a movie at 7 p.m. There will be a meeting on Teams before the movie starts.

March break giveaway 

From February 22 to February 25 until 12 p.m., students can participate in the march break staycation giveaway through Instagram. 

The price includes $300 in gift certificates for activities, over $450 in restaurant gift cards, $300 in local shopping, and two-night accommodations.
