Waves

Taylor Fennelly

READING TIME: < 1 MINUTES

it comes at night,

after soft, gruelling days.

like a tidal wave,

it rises and crashes over me:

dragging me under.

the current is much too

strong for me to fight.

so I will drown,

until somebody saves me.
