READING TIME: 2 MINUTES
Hello UNB Saint John!
Our April print has been circulating around campus for a few days now. You can grab a copy in the Commons by the main entrance, outside of our office on the second floor of the Thomas J. Condon Student Centre, and you can find them scattered around campus!
I have been a part of the Baron since my first year at UNB Saint John. I started as a Staff Writer, then in my second year I became the Copy Editor, and in my third and fourth years I have had the absolute pleasure of being Editor-in-Chief. While I am sad to bid farewell to the publication I have devoted so much time, energy, and love to, I am also so excited to see how this paper continues to develop in the future.
I am thrilled to pass the EIC baton on to Madison Cullinan! Madison has been a Staff Writer at the Baron for the past year and has shown not only an immense talent for writing, but an even greater passion for supporting and elevating the Baron. I have no doubts that the Baron will continue to grow and flourish under her editorship.
As per usual, I want to send a thank you to all the students, faculty, and staff who have shared so much support for our physical prints over the years. I also want to send a special (and final) thank you to everyone who contributed to the Baron in any way shape or form over the past two years: Sarah Harrigan, Elizabeth Williamson, Samridhi Girdhar, Philippa David, Tam Nguyen, Khushi Chauhan, Isabelle Fleming, Claire Bentley, Paige Fletcher, Madison Cullinan, Jonathan Bruce, Will Foley, Himanshu Sharma, Abigail Legacy, Matthew Heans, Bailey Young, Kayla Dela Cruz, Tyler Williams, Ridhima Dixit, Melanie Clark, Casie Turrell, and of course the editors who came before me, especially Emily Wheaton. The continual improvement of this publication would not be possible without all of your hard work and dedication.

I am beyond proud of all that has been accomplished over the past two years. I hope you have enjoyed reading these prints as much as I have enjoyed editing and creating them.
Today marks our last day of publishing for the 2025-2026 academic term, but we will be back in September when classes resume. Until then, you can always reach out to us by email (editor@thebaron.ca) or follow us on Instagram (unban.thebaron).
Best of luck on your exams and have an amazing summer break!
Kylie MacKenzie, EIC.
