The UNBSJ women’s soccer team took on Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) on their home field Saturday Sept. 16 only to be defeated.

The Seawolves played just as hard as the Mystics, but our home team is young and are still getting into the swing of the season with their new coach, Jason Brown.

MSVU made many attempts on net throughout the game and succeeded in scoring two in the first half, bringing the halftime score to 2-0 for the Mystics.

The second half of the game started to falter as the Seawolves lost their momentum and spirits. They continued to drag as player number three, Jess Glynn, took a tumble and was assisted off of the field with an injury to her right leg.

The game finished with MNSU scoring another goal, finishing the game with a score of 3-0 in the Mystics favour.
