On November 7, the Happy Hour Club put on an event at Gahan House with a focus for women to make meaningful connections with other women. This event allowed women to mingle, to discuss social and professional interests, network, connect with new people, and indulge in some delicious food, mocktails, ciders, and beer.

This was the fifth Happy Hour Club and the first in the Saint John area. This event was designed to include any woman who wanted to go, including students, professionals, stay at home moms and retirees.

The goal of these events is to provide women with the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and enjoy the company of other women. Saint John’s first Happy Hour Club was well received, with one hundred and thirty women of all ages, races and backgrounds in attendance.

If you are interested in making connections, or simply having a good time, you can find the Happy Hour Club Saint John on Facebook to keep up to date on upcoming events.
