UNB Sustainability and the Lorenzo Society will host an environmentally friendly event this week.

Catch Wind of It

On Wednesday October 12 there will be an event hosted by the Lorenzo Society and UNB Sustainability. At the environmentally engaged art event, attendees will be able to listen to live music and paint an energy-efficient windmill that will be displayed in the RB Studio and Gallery. Attendees will have the chance to meet Danielle Manuel, the artist behind “Doom Moon” who will be paint clothing.

The first 15 attendees will also be able to participate in a giveaway. The event will go from 1 pm to 4 pm in the Quad.

In the case of bad weather, it will move to the Whitebone Pizzeria.

Sustainability Month at UNB

UNB’s sustainability month goes throughout the month of October. The mission is to cover the following objectives while making the planet cleaner:

  • – Eradicating poverty and hunger
  • – Increasing health and wellbeing
  • – Advancing climate action and clean energy
