Our campus at UNB Saint John is going through immense changes as the Ward Chipman Library building will be demolished and replaced with a large new Health and Social Innovation Centre to accommodate UNB’s integrated health initiative (IHI) program and the new Bachelor of Health degree.

The 65,000-square-foot, three-and-a-half story building is going to host all the IHI activities.

For construction reasons, UNB Saint John Security has put out notices last month to advise students that they must vacate the lockers that exist within the building and surrounding.

Students have until December 19 to collect their belongings and take their locks. Any lockers that have not been cleared out will have their locks cut off and their belongings placed in storage by UNBSJ Security. The content of the lockers will later be donated or thrown out depending on their quality as the new building project continues.

Therefore, if you or someone you know has a locker in these locations, please clear them out before you head home for the holidays!
